Daniel Paik

Daniel Paik is a native of Southern California where he received his degree in photography from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Influenced by the works of August Sanders, Richard Avedon, and Robert Frank, Paik sought to further his education assisting Arnold Newman in New York.

After graduating, Paik again made the leap from California to the East Coast, settling in New York City where he began working for the esteemed photographer, Jonathan Becker. Over fourteen years, Paik and Becker traveled the world on assignment for a multitude of distinguished editorial institutions. Daniel currently resides in Brooklyn with his 2 cats, MIU and MIMO.
